In just one decade’s time, Chunk has gone from concept to distribution throughout Europe, building on its love for cool nostalgia to illustrate its graphic tees and other garments. Remaining on the cutting edge of urban trends, Chunk also has sponsored the European Hard Court Bike Polo Championships (and its own team in those championships) and based an entire line on the burgeoning sport. Chunk might be best known for its variations on Star Wars themes and characters on its tees; its latest offerings portray the cartoon characters Ren and Stimpy in various poses and expressions. Chunk has secured licensing contracts with the biggest names in the business to decorate their tees in unique ways, signing deals with Warner Bros, Marvel and Looney Tunes, among other. “Quirky” in its best sense has been the adjective most applied to Chunk’s designs by fashion reviewers, and quirky is what many guys who want to stand out from the crowd seek in their tees, shirts and hoodies.
