About Local Celebrity Shorts
In 2003 the idea for Local Celebrity was created when at a Music Festival in rural Illinois. Whilst rocking out in the middle of a corn field, inspiration struck like heavy metal thunder, 'Let's ditch our jobs and start a t-shirt company!' After a long road trip, a few brain-storming sessions and a couple dozen high fives, we came up with the first set of designs. Local Celebrity was born!

The cult stateside label that has the LA underground scene pining for more. Fresh from a dynamic, creative workshop in LA, comes T-shirt brand Local Celebrity. This unique company takes fashion back to grass-roots level, with the ultimate in laugh-your-abs-to-washboard humour. All Local Celebrity shirts are custom fit designed for the brand.
