We’ve all seen the photos of JT and Britney Spears decked out in matching denim outfits for the American Music Awards Show in 2001. He’s learned quite a bit from his early dressing disasters however these days Justine Timberlake is one entertainer who knows how to dress.
Mr JT has shown through the years that dressing well is really about confidence more than the appeal of any single garment or look. Your wardrobe choices are a reflection of your personality and JT likes to call it swagger: That indefinable aura that makes you appear self-assured, capable and in control. If you believe you look great, you’re half way there.
Timberlake finds that he receives more compliments to his outfits when he adds an unexpected item, like a hat, dog-tag chains, or beat-up black military boots. “The more ‘made-over’ you are, the more ridiculous you start to look,” he says. “You become distanced from who you are because it looks so contrived.”
Born on 31st January 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee, he left elementary school in the sixth grade, and was home schooled throughout middle school and high school.
Previously referred to as the “President of Pop” by numerous critics he is one of the greatest all-round entertainers in the history of show business with his net worth around $100 million.
The former N-Sync band member has remained a hat lover from way back and JT has nailed the casual but subtly tailored look, and has a unique take on choosing the right headwear style. Instead of making the hat the main focus of his look, he integrates it with the rest of his apparel. That way, the effect doesn’t shout that he spent all day in front of a mirror or simply supporting his local haberdasher.
Justin Timberlake, along with his partner Trace Ayala, launched their own clothing line and named it “William Rast”. The inspiration behind the name was the grandfathers of both the partners. William is the name of Timberlake’s Grandfather and Rast is the last name of Ayala’s grandfather.
