The Spring Essentials

The winter is starting to thaw out and the summer sunshine is slowly creeping in to fill the void that is left behind. Whilst the weather is starting to perk up, it is still not acceptable to dive right in with shorts and sandals. We still have that small season called Spring to deal with.

Just like the sun, taking a slow and steady approach until it is in full bloom, your warm weather wardrobe should be doing the same. It is around this time of year that you really need to start sowing the seeds for summer and we have some of the greatest items to keep you looking fresh this Spring.

Knitwear
The athleisure trend has been on the scene for a few years now and has become a well-established look for most men. Spring knitwear pieces are no different. This new take on knitwear has provided a much more practical clothing item that can be used to layer up with any outfit.

Lightweight sport-influenced knits are the way forward this Spring and when teamed up with a tailored blazer you can nail the smart casual look.

Accessories
Topping up your look with well-placed accessories is the icing on the cake. Just like changing our clothes with the season it is important to remember to keep your accessories in check too. Winter accessories tend to be heavier, chunkier pieces mainly in dark browns and blacks.

With fabrics in the spring becoming a little bit lighter, it would make sense for your accessories to follow suit. We love this thin belt from Vivienne Westwood that will do just the trick.

Vivienne Westwood Mustard Orb Logo Belt
Coming in Mustard, the Orb Logo Belt is designed by Vivienne Westwood. This belt comes as One Size which is intended to be cut to your own waist size. The branding is also present on the belt.

Footwear
Exactly the same as accessories, your footwear should also be changing with the season. Once again throughout winter, the chunkier, heavier pieces of footwear tend to dominate the market. Black or dark brown boots with big chunky soles adorn the feet of men across the country, but now it is time to lighten things up.

The unpredictable weather does pose a threat to your footwear choices, but there is one thing for certain… you can leave the sandals at home at the minute! Instead opt for lighter fabric (suede or leather) and select a lighter colour to finish your outfit off.

Farah Vintage Sand Lozza Suede Shoes
From Farah Vintage come the Lozza Suede Shoes in Sand colour, featuring lace-up fastening. They should be treated with a leather protector. With a suede upper, round toe and pull tab, these shoes come with a textured tread and sport a logo on the outer side.

Jackets
It can be tough to part with the warmth of your winter coat, but there are a huge range of different jacket options this spring that will keep you covered up and looking fresh.

The bomber has been on our scene for a number of years now and it is understandable why. This ultra flexible jacket will look great with almost any outfit and is a perfect layer in the spring. However, this season there are even more choices to get your mouth watering over which jacket to wear. Pop over to our website to check out our full range of jackets. However, we have picked out one of our favourites for your enjoyment.
